Warranty information

The warranty is non-transferable – any warranty claims must be made by the original purchaser, and include proof of purchase. Products carry the warranty specified for that category.

The conditions of the warranty are: Products shall have been subject to only normal use and service and shall not have been misused, neglected, altered, improperly set up or otherwise damaged; and, there shall be no evidence of tampering or deliberate misuse or destruction.

Defects to KRE – J. Kaas products will be determined solely by KRE – J. Kaas and not by any representative, distributor or dealer of or for KRE – J. Kaas. Upon determination of a defect, KRE – J. Kaas at it’s sole discretion will choose to repair or replace the defective part with the same or similar product, or issue a refund (partial or whole).

We sell “separate parts” of individual manufacturers, necessary for subsequent assembly into a certain „complex“ product, the so-called DIY.

The buyer assembles the parts himself according to the manual.

We only create our own design of metal parts and ensure their production. We provide a lifetime warranty for manufacturing defects on these metal parts.

We provide a warranty for electronic components set by individual manufacturers of these parts for a period of 15 days, which begins on the day of delivery of the components to the buyer.

Any claim against KRE – J. Kaas for defects in materials or workmanship must be in writing (including email and/or electronic form submission). KRE – J. Kaas must authorize the return of any alleged or defective part before it is returned. The party making the claim must prepay all shipping and transportation costs. KRE – J. Kaas will not accept charges for parts purchased unless the conditions of the warranty have been satisfied.

KRE – J. Kaas reserves the right to substitute, discontinue, alter or modify any product or part thereof, at any time with or without prior notice. In such cases KRE – J. Kaas may, at its sole discretion, substitute the warranted product with a newer or alternative (equivalent) version.

No KRE – J. Kaas representative, distributor or reseller is authorized to assume for KRE – J. Kaas any other obligations or liabilities in connection with the product, or alter the terms of this warranty in any way.

KRE – J. Kaas shall not be liable for damages, including special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the performance of a KRE – J. Kaas complex product or its use by the owner.

Returns & refunds

We are proud of the things we make. An incredible amount of thought and sweat goes into every design. All of our metal parts carry a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Electronic components have a 15-day warranty. We will repair, replace, or refund any parts that does does not meet your satisfaction due to a manufacturing defect. Simply contact us with the reason for your dissatisfaction, and ship the parts back to us at:

Once your return parts is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned parts. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 business days. Please Note: Refunds for items returned for reasons other than manufacturing defects and seller packaging mistakes will be subject to a restocking fee and not include the cost of shipping on the original order.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet please follow these steps:
1. Check your bank account again
2. Contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is posted.
3. Contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@kre-sim.eu.

Gift cards cannot be returned or refunded.

Restocking fee

Items returned for reasons other than manufacturing defects and seller packaging mistakes will be subject to a 10% restocking fee or a 5.00 EUR flat fee (whichever is higher). The 10% restocking fee will be calculated based on the price paid by the customer at the time of purchase for the goods being returned (including tax and shipping costs). Restocking fees will be deducted from the refund amount that will be returned to the customer after the return is complete.

Returns/refunds of products purchased through resellers

Returns or refunds for products purchased through resellers must be pursued through the reseller. We cannot process returns or refunds for products not purchased directly from KRE – J. Kaas.
